Agent Pulse

LOCAL AI AGENT MONITORING

Your AI agents, on Stream Deck Neo.

Follow Claude and Codex at a glance. See task status, recorded plan progress and elapsed working time on Neo, with daily, weekly, monthly and yearly history on your Mac.

Requirements

Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 13 or later, and separately installed Codex and/or Claude. Device display requires an Elgato Stream Deck Neo connected by USB. Neo is sold separately; other Stream Deck models are not supported.

What Agent Pulse does

  • Dedicated Neo task pages for Codex and Claude.
  • Actual observed model and reasoning settings when available.
  • Task activity, elapsed working time, and progress from recorded plan steps.
  • Local working time history, with parallel tasks counted once per agent.
  • Individual log folder access and monitoring controls.

Agent Pulse is a third-party monitoring tool. Tasks run and approvals are handled in the original agent applications.

Setup and troubleshooting

How do I enable monitoring in the App Store edition?

In Settings, choose the Codex log folder (~/.codex) and/or Claude project log folder (~/.claude/projects) with the macOS folder picker. Press Command-Shift-G to enter a path. Claude Desktop model metadata has a separate optional folder grant. Access is restored after restarting and can be revoked individually.

How do I connect Stream Deck Neo?

Connect Neo by USB and quit the official Stream Deck app before enabling Control Neo. Agent Pulse displays Codex tasks to the left of home and Claude tasks to the right. Turn off Control Neo to release the device back to the Stream Deck app.

What does working time measure?

It measures running activity observed by Agent Pulse, organized by local calendar dates. Parallel tasks for the same agent count once in that agent's daily total; each task also has its own duration. Approvals, paused work, sleep and app downtime are excluded. This is not token usage, billing or model compute time.

What do progress and model labels mean?

Progress uses structured plan steps recorded by the agent. The app shows the observed model and reasoning effort when the available logs contain them; unknown values remain unknown. Remaining-time estimates are approximate and appear only when there is enough recorded evidence.

How do I clear completed tasks?

Return from an agent task page to Neo home to clear that agent's stopped tasks from the display. Running tasks remain. Original agent conversations are retained; a new turn can appear again.

How do I stop monitoring?

Choose Quit in the Agent Pulse menu bar. Closing the settings window keeps monitoring active. You can disable both agents and save, revoke a folder grant, or choose Remove integrations to revoke all grants and release Neo. Existing local history is retained. Launch at login is off by default and requires enabling the setting and saving.

Where is local history stored?

The App Store edition stores it inside the macOS app sandbox container under ~/Library/Containers/com.shaun-wang.streamdeck-ai-supervisor/Data/Library/Application Support/. The independent edition uses ~/Library/Application Support/streamdeck-supervisor. Removing the app does not delete original agent conversations. See the Privacy Policy for data removal details.
